My book (see the pic) is officially out there for public consumption!
I cannot begin to describe all of the feelings I am experiencing right now.
Let's just leave it at I AM VERY PROUD & I feel like I have accomplished a major milestone in my life ... Naaaaaaaaah!! We all know I can say a lot more than that!!
Well here's the scoop ... When I signed my deal with my publisher, I got 20 free copies off the top. They came on my doorstep three days ago, and I was SOLD OUT in less than five days! (Of course I comp'd my Mom & Dad, and I also comp'd a very special cousin who has a rare wisdom far beyond her mere 16 years - but the rest were straight SOLD!)
A lot of people are shocked by the fact that I have achieved this particular feat. Some because they just never knew me outside of a particular realm; i.e. work, and others because they expect me to be just another ... (cop the book and read the lesson, "Beware of the Bubble Busters!")
ANYWAY ... the response has been more positive than negative and it's getting better and better. I've got my team working on getting me some talk show interviews for both TV & radio, so I'll keep you posted on when and where to tune in.
Hey ... Everyone has a book in them. What is difficult about writing one is being honest enough with yourself to commit your true feelings to paper and then subject them to the world, because people can be very cruel - especially those who (in the hood) would be called "Haters." A "hater" is a person who is jealous of either the dreams, goals, and or accomplishments of other people. They spend more time shooting other people down than they do building themselves up - again ... read about the "Bubble Busters!"
Look ... if you want to have more and be more, then you are going to have to DO MORE! It's really just that simple! If accomplishing this project has taught me nothing else, it has taught me that we can create anything we want. What was a fleeting idea about a year and a half ago is now selling on Amazon.com! What was a fleeting idea about a year and a half ago is now a physical entity that will produce risidual income for me and my family for years to come.
I recently learned a most beautiful new legal term: "PERPETUITY!"
