I have always believed and said that life is a journey, and on that journey you're going to experience peaks and valleys.
In other words, as we go through our respective day to day grinds, we are prone to experience all kinds of highs & lows.
As a "motivator" people expect me to always be on or at my peak. The reality is, I am just as human as you are, and I too have my "valleys" to accompany those "peaks." I appreciate my valleys because without them, how could I appreciate my peaks?
HOWEVER ...
"Yea though I walk through the valley," I am of the mind that God, the Universe, or whoever people deem to be their "higher power" exists to bestow upon us all that we want to have. The only catch; however, is that WANTING ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH. That "higher power" is going to test our faith, tenacity, and endurance to see if we are worthy of possessing the things we profess to want to have.
The way I see it, our time here is temporary; however, that "higher power" has FOREVER to play with, therefore, the battle of wills is not engaged between us and that "higher power," it exists WITHIN ourselves. Once we have proven ourselves, the doors to true success and achievement begin to open.
"And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before." JOB - 42:10
