I Guess It's Just a Matter of Perspective ...

Okay, let me see if I can understand this: Kanye West is catching hell for making a scene at the MTV VMA's by interrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speech; WHICH WAS WRONG & very much out of line.



HOWEVER, Jack Black can come out on stage, invite people to hold hands and openly offer a prayer to Satan - but not be taken seriously, or at least anyone have a problem with it?

It is truly amazing what a Black man CAN'T do & what a man named Black CAN do!



And if that's not enough ... The host of the VMA's, British comedian Russell Brand can come out on stage and talk all about how he wants to slip a pill into actress Megan Fox's drink & sexually assault her while she is experiencing a delusional trip.

But that's cool too.

Now ... I am NOT making any excuses for Kanye West; what he did was wrong AND inexcusable ... however ... with regards to Black & Brand I am NOT inclined to take their comments as "just comedy."

Then again ... this is the MTV Video Music Awards; which has been known for all kinds of unscripted outbursts! Also, just as Jack Black & Russel Brand are known for their brash style of comedy, Kanye West is also known for acting like a brat at award shows.

In the end, I'm not accepting or making excuses for any of these people ... I am just about navigating through the smokey fog of politically correct bullshit and holding people to the same standard.

But I Guess It Really is Just a Matter of Perspective.
