My Thoughts on Hermain Cain & the Republican Presidential Debates

First let me say that this blog is LONG overdue.

A young brother asked me what I thought about Herman Cain. Another brother stated that America was not going to go for 2 black presidents in a row. Well ... Here go my thoughts ...

I find Herman Cain interesting. Out of all the Republican wack-a-loons, Herman Cain is the only one who's not "tainted" by having served in public office before. Also, he's the only one who has never had to really back-pedal over anything he's said. These other jackasses get up there and tell bold-faced lies. The lies get called out the next day & they either say they "misspoke" or they just say that the other person is wrong.

Funny thing is, one of the moderators told Cain that her people ran the numbers for Cain's "999 Plan" & their numbers showed that his plan would not be revenue neutral and then asked him to explain it. He flat out told her that the problem with her calculations were wrong. But instead of making some snide remark to her or deflect to some other candidate he EXPLAINED why she was wrong telling her that her calculations were based on the current tax code - which he has stated he plans to throw out. SHE HAD NO RESPONSE

Additionally, I find it F'd up that everyone demeans one of this man's greatest professional achievements in having been the CEO of Godfather's Pizza. When asked what he thought about Cain's "999 Plan," I believe it was Gov. Huntsman who said he thought it was the price of a pizza. Almost all of the other candidates had some other weak ass "pizza" joke of some kind. Why?

#1. Because THEY have no real dirt on the man, THEY have to attack him and his credibility based on his most significant accomplishment. Also, the people and the media are noticing that THIS black man has a set of balls and - as I said - doesn't do much if any back-pedaling. That's why he has risen in the polls. That's why all of the other CROOK-didates went in on him at the last debate.

#2. If a Harvard educated black man who spent his pre-political career working WITHIN the community to help them wasn't good enough, how could a business man who ran a successful corporation possibly. When THEY say "Community Organizer" THEY equate that with somebody trying to get all kids on the block together to play a game of hide & seek. And Cain ... Dude might as well have been delivering the pizzas because that's all THEY think about him.

Herman Cain asked Mitt Romney if he could explain the FIFTY NINE points / 160 pages of his plan & if so were they simple, transparent, efficient, fair & neutral and after a nervous chuckle he did everything BUT answer the question (Hint: Any question that starts with "CAN YOU" is a question requiring a "YES or NO" answer).

However, I agree with my brother Matthew. THEY are not going to allow "Back 2 Back Black" presidents. THEY are going to look at it as a social experiment gone wrong and go back to one of their own. You see, this is how THEY have operated historically. THEY stack the deck against us and then blame us for not being able to pull of a royal flush.

The problem with Obama is that he came into this game playing the role of the "safe & non-threatening negro." Had he come into office talking as tough as he has been talking over the past month or so, he would probably be in a better position now. His only saving graces right now are #1. There are still a WHOLE LOTTA black folk who will vote for him just because he's black and not have ONE clue about his politics & #2. Many people (WHITE & Black) don't trust the Republicans Party & they see this motley crue of candi-DOPES as a bunch of stooges more concerned with helping the rich stay richer than they are with insuring everyone has an equal chance at prosperity.
