Today I was working a security detail at the Jewelry Exchange, one of the largest diamond and jewelry retail outlets in the state of New Jersey.
One of the retailers let me look at my wedding band through his jeweler's glass (those cool little eye devices you see them using to see stones up close), and I found a tiny break in one of the baguets. Looking through that glass though, it looked like I had been punching a wall with it ever since the day of my wedding (Lord knows there were days when I felt like it ... LOL!).
Inside the Jewelry Exchange there are a few small jewelry repair shops, so I stopped into one of them and showed them my ring. These three guys had a work space damn near no bigger than my bathroom, but they worked together at fixing my ring, and in about an hour and a half my ring looked as new as it did the day I sold my soul ... oops - I mean ... married my beautiful wife!
Hey ... If you're in the Central Jersey area and in need of some high quality jewelry repair, you need to check these guys out.
