Just when I promised my mother I would try not to cuss on my blog so that she can read it (at work), some muthaph%%n' bull$h&% like this magazine cover has to come out.

MAAAAAAAN ... There won't no way I wasn't going to come home and NOT have nothing to say about this!!

This is the trap that "W" America is trying to set for Barack Obama. This is what I've been talking about all along.

You see ... what's being done here is they're provoking him. They're needling him. They want him to snap and just get ghetto. What's pissing me off is that with every smack in the face Obama has been hit with he has "turned the other cheek" so many times that it looks like he's being beaten worse than a red-headed step-child! I just want "Barry" to be that brother he "can't" be. I know in my heart that when it's just him and Michelle alone and Malia & Sasha are tucked in and deep in the bliss of innocent childhood slumber that "Barry" is straight WILDIN'! But "W" America won't see that. Oh no ... He won't let you have the satisfaction - and as much as I admire that tactic ... it's just pissing me the hell off because I KNOW WHAT THE BROTHER WANTS TO SAY!

However ... just like the saying goes, don't dress for the job you got - dress for the job you want; the same goes for what Sen. Obama's attitude must be ... "Don't behave for the job you have - behave for the job you want!"

Let me tell you something .... I know what kind of stress that man is going through. And the fact that he is handling it publicly as he is is exactly why he's going to win this election. Jesse Jackson's jacka$$ remarks about Obama a week or so ago was nothing more than his jealousy of Sen. Obama going farther in this election than Jesse ever did in both `84 and `88. Sure Sen. Obama forgave Jesse ... but don't count on seeing Jesse holding any high ranking cabinet position.

In the end, Sen. Obama's restraint and humility thusfar is something that every man of color should strive to achieve within himself. I know that I must learn from it and incorporate it more into my psyche and my outward demeanor.

I have long since held the belief that there is a significant difference between humility and humiliation. Sen. Barack Obama has become the living epitome of that belief ... flesh brought to faith. Trust and believe ... Sen. Barack Obama is doing just what every other politician has done ... whatever it takes to get the job. Trust and believe (my wife hates it when I say that too many times - LOL!) ... that when - THAT'S RIGHT ... WHEN Sen. Obama becomes President Obama, the brother will be smart enough to invite all these international wannabe-thugs to the peace table. Those who are smart enough to come to the table will be squared away and we - with "a new face of America" will forge a new peace. Anybody wanting to (as my wife says) "catch stupid," will just see what happens when you piss off a brother from the CHI-Town with a Harvard education.
